My husband Steve and I were just married 3 weeks ago, June 23, 2007. People had a GREAT time at our reception, and you know what many of them attributed that to? The DJ!
I was a little worried about our reception because we are older, and would be having a wide variety of ages of people attending. I wondered, how will we appeal to all of those age groups? Will people dance? Will they be bored? Also, it was my first wedding, so I didn't know anything about the sequence of when things are supposed to happen, who-does-what-when and all of that. Our guests got to the reception while we were still having a few pictures taken at the church, and when our limo arrived, Scott took it from there. Having him know EXACTLY what to do and being in charge made it so easy and stress-free for me. His experience made things run smoothly, and he looked and acted like a professional. I had several things come up that took up my time the week of the wedding, so I didn't have time to go over everything in detail with Scott as I had planned. It didn't matter; he was smooth and relaxed and knew exactly what to do. He's a professional, and it showed.
Scott was great; he knew just how to sequence the songs -- including many that Steve and I requested -- and keep people involved, interested, and dancing. Steve's the one who researched DJs and had us interview Scott, and I'm glad he did.
I hope your day is as great for you as ours was for us. Family and friends who were there have talked about and relived our wedding and reception for weeks. I wish the same for you!

Tom did a great job at our wedding. He handled the added stress we put on him very well as we did not have any kind of plan in place before talking to him. We told him to put on a good show and make the guests happy, which he did very well. He basically planned how the whole night went down and none of us could have told him to do anything differently or better. We would have no problem being used as a reference.

The wedding was wonderful, everything I hoped it would be, and it just went by way too fast. Jordan did an excellent job for us and we were so happy that you were able to provide us with his services; he is a top notch DJ and knows just what to do to make the reception the best time for all.
